One of six MSC ships sailing in South America for the 2024-25 season, the MSC Armonia has recently repositioned to Santos, Brazil.

After completing a series of week-long itineraries to Argentina and Uruguay, the vessel arrived at the port in São Paulo state to operate short cruises.

Now sailing from Santos along with the MSC Grandiosa, the MSC Seaview and the MSC Splendida, the Armonia offers three- and four-night cruises to destinations in Southeast Brazil.

In addition to one day at sea, the short cruise itineraries feature visits to the resort towns of Búzios, Ilha Grande and Ilhabela.

In late February, the 2,600-guest ship is also scheduled to offer a special five-night cruise over Brazil’s Carnival holiday that adds a visit to Rio de Janeiro.

Upon arriving in South America in December, the MSC Armonia kicked off a series of seven-night cruises to Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil.

Sailing from multiple homeports, the ship offered a regular itinerary that included visits to Buenos Aires, Punta del Este, Paranaguá and Itajaí.

After offering a final cruise in the region in late January, the 2001-built ship repositioned to Santos in early February.

The MSC Armonia now offers short cruises from Santos through late March, when it is scheduled to return to Europe.

Sailing with no guests onboard, the vessel crosses the Atlantic in early April ahead of a summer season in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Sailing from Venice, the Armonia offers seven-night cruises to destinations in Italy, Greece and Croatia, such as Brindisi, Mykonos and Split.

In November, the ship is scheduled to return to South America for the 2025-26 winter season in the region.

In addition to the Armonia, five other MSC ships are currently sailing in the region: the MSC Grandiosa, the MSC Seaview, the MSC Splendida, the MSC Orchestra and the MSC Poesia.
