Christine Duffy is celebrating a decade as president of Carnival Cruise Line.
Since joining the cruise line in February 2015, Duffy has guided Carnival through significant growth and industry milestones.
Before leading Carnival, Duffy served as CEO of the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and had a background in the travel agency and meeting planning sectors. Her first involvement with the cruise industry was through CLIA, but former Carnival Corporation CEO Arnold Donald saw her leadership potential to bring fresh energy and focus to the brand.
Under Duffy’s leadership, Carnival Cruise Line has expanded its fleet, introduced innovative onboard experiences and strengthened its position as a leader in the cruise industry. Her tenure has been marked by a commitment to making cruising accessible, affordable and fun for millions of guests.
