A Look at Royal Caribbean’s 26-27 Season from San Diego

Serenade of the Seas

As part of Royal Caribbean International’s recently announced 2026-27 winter season on the West Coast, the Serenade of the Seas is scheduled to offer itineraries from San Diego.

Cruise Industry News takes a closer look at the new cruise schedule, which includes two- to seven-night cruises to Baja California, the Mexican Riviera and the Sea of Cortez.

Debut Voyage
Ship: Serenade of the Seas
Date:
Oct. 2, 2026
Length: 2 nights
Homeport: San Diego (United States)
Itinerary: Ensenada (Mexico)

The Serenade of the Seas kicks off Royal Caribbean’s 26-27 season in San Diego with a short cruise to Baja Mexico.

Sailing in early October, the two-night cruise features a visit to Ensenada before returning to Southern California.

Catalina and Ensenada
Ship: Serenade of the Seas
Dates:
Multiple sailings between October 2026 and April 2027
Length: 4 nights
Homeport: San Diego (United States)
Itinerary: Catalina Island (United States); and Ensenada (Mexico)

The Serenade’s schedule from San Diego features multiple short cruises, including a series of four-night cruises to Catalina Island and Ensenada.

With a number of departures scheduled between October 2026 and April 2027, the itinerary also includes one day at sea.

Overnight in Cabo San Lucas
Ship: Serenade of the Seas
Date:
Dec. 13, 2026
Length: 7 nights
Homeport: San Diego (United States)
Itinerary: Catalina Island (United States); Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas (Mexico)

The Serenade of the Seas is scheduled to offer a seven-night cruise to the Mexican Riviera that features an overnight visit to Cabo San Lucas.

The itinerary sails from San Diego in mid-December and also features visits to Catalina Island and Ensenada.

Sea of Cortez
Ship: Serenade of the Seas
Dates:
Multiple sailings between October 2026 and April 2027
Length: 7 nights
Homeport: San Diego (United States)
Itinerary: Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas and La Paz (Mexico)

The Serenade of the Seas will also sail in the Sea of Cortez during the 2026-27 season, with a series of cruises to La Paz scheduled to take place between October and April.

The visits to the destination are part of week-long cruises that also feature stops in Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas.

 

Ensenada, Mazatlán and La Paz

Four departures between November 2026 and January 2027
Length: 7 nights
Homeport: San Diego (United States)
Itinerary: Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán and La Paz (Mexico)

Another itinerary being offered by Royal Caribbean in 2026-27 includes visits to Ensenada, Mazatlán and La Paz.

Four departures are scheduled to take place during the season, including two over the holidays in December.
