Riviera River Cruises has rebranded as Riviera Travel, kicking off a new chapter for the company as it expands its offerings and strengthens its presence in the U.S. market, according to a press release.
The rebrand includes a new brand identity, bundled travel packages and an expedited commission schedule for travel advisors. The initiative aims to boost awareness of Riviera’s European river cruises, drive sales and increase market share while enhancing profitability for travel advisors.
“For the past 40 years, Riviera Travel has been synonymous with ultra-premium tours and travel experiences, so it’s only natural to bring Riviera River Cruises under the same trusted name,” said Marilyn Conroy, executive vice president of marketing and sales for Riviera River Cruises.
“Rebranding from Riviera River Cruises to Riviera Travel better reflects the diverse, luxurious experiences we now offer to even the most discerning American travelers seeking unforgettable European vacations.”
The company’s new booking process now allows travel advisors to bundle airfare, transfers and pre- or post-cruise hotel stays with river voyages.
The line has also updated its travel advisor commission schedule, now paying commissions two weeks before clients’ departure. In addition to the new commission schedule, the line will offer exclusive incentives throughout 2025, including $50 and $100 vouchers for bookings of seven or more nights.
In addition to new booking options and earning potential for travel advisors, Riviera Travel has updated its offerings for 2025, introducing combination cruises of up to 29 days, themed itineraries like Gastronomy of the Douro and Art and History on the Danube, and new onboard amenities, including a superior drinks package and destination-inspired experiences.
“The travel advisor community is essential to the growth and success of Riviera Travel as we expand our offerings and enhance the services we provide, and we continue to evolve our offerings in an effort to help our partners stay ahead of the game,” said Conroy. “With our rebrand, we are thrilled to reaffirm our commitment to travel advisors, recognizing their needs, the needs of their clients, and the absolutely vital role they play in our success. This is going to be a monumental year for Riviera Travel and those who partner with us!”
