Carnival Introduces New Asia-Pacific Itineraries

Carnival Luminosa

Carnival Cruise Line has announced four new Carnival Journeys sailings aboard the Carnival Luminosa and Carnival Adventure, sailing in 2026 and 2027 respectively.

The new itineraries will feature stops in Japan, Southeast Asia and Australia, including visits to seven ports new to the cruise line.

“These new itineraries represent some of our most exotic and diverse offerings in the Asia-Pacific region. With our expanded deployment in Australia, we’re able to offer our guests itineraries with more variety along with the Carnival experience they know and love – and this includes the rare experience of sailing with our ships as they mark inaugural visits to several ports and countries across the region,” said Fred Stein, vice president of itinerary planning for Carnival Cruise Line.

Carnival Luminosa’s newly announced cruises for 2026 include:

  • The 14-day Tokyo to Singapore cruise: Departing Oct. 9, 2026, the voyage features maiden visits for Carnival to Hong Kong; Osaka (Kyoto) and Fukuoka (Hakata) in Japan; South Korea’s Seogwipo (Jeju); and Keelung (Taipei) in Taiwan. The ship will also visit Phy My (Ho Chi Minh) in Vietnam.
  • The 14-day journey from Singapore to Brisbane: Departing Nov. 30, 2026, guests will visit Bali; Darwin, Cairns, and Airlie Beach, Australia.

Carnival Adventure’s new voyages for 2027:

  • The 14-day cruise from Sydney to Singapore: Departing Jan. 27, 2027, the journey takes guests to Airlie Beach and Darwin, Australia; Bali and Lombok, Indonesia.
  • The nine-day Southeast Asia cruise, sailing roundtrip from Singapore: Departing Feb. 27, 2027, the voyage features more first-time visits for Carnival, including Koh Samui and Laem Chabang (Bangkok) in Thailand, as well as Sihanoukville in Cambodia. The sailing also visits Phy My (Ho Chi Minh) in Vietnam.

Sailings on the Carnival Luminosa can be booked through Carnival Cruise Line, while sailings on the Carnival Adventure are currently available through P&O Cruises Australia and will be available on Carnival.com starting in March.
