Alma Cruises announced the appointment of David Medina as its new director of onboard operations, according to a press release.

With over 22 years in the hospitality sector, including 17 years managing cruise ship operations, Medina brings extensive experience in maritime operations and guest services to his new role.

A native of Huelva, Medina holds a degree in Computer Science in Data Management from the Polytechnic University of La Rábida and a Master’s in Tourism Management and Administration. His career includes roles in the hotel industry and, since 2008, leadership positions on cruise ships.

“It is a privilege to join Alma Cruises, a company that is redefining the concept of boutique cruises,” said Medina. “I look forward to bringing my experience and passion for the industry to offer our guests unique and unforgettable experiences, while maintaining the high standards of quality and service that characterize the cruise line.”
