TUI River Cruises Announces New Culinary Offerings for Summer 2025

TUI Ria

TUI River Cruises is expanding its onboard menu in summer 2025 with three new culinary creations, created by the line’s food and beverage team, according to a statement.

The new additions were developed as part of the brand’s “Culinary Voyages” competition, in which the food and beverage team showcased dishes inspired by the destinations explored during their river cruises.

The new recipes will be available across the line’s European fleet in summer 2025.

Katy Berzins, head of TUI River Cruises at TUI River Cruises said: “Showcasing the personal choice and flexibility of our culinary offering onboard makes us unique as a river cruise line. We are always looking at ways to enhance our menus and connect the dishes we serve back to the destinations we visit. Our ‘Culinary Voyages’ competition was all about celebrating the talent of our food and beverage team and these new creations showcase the incredible skills of the staff we have across our fleet. We can’t wait for passengers to enjoy them next summer.”

The three culinary additions are:

  • Zamburinas alla Passau: A German-inspired main course featuring scallops with fresh vegetables, celery roots, red radish, asparagus, potatoes, nutmeg, herbs, vinegar and white wine. Created by Executive Chef Jerry Rodriguez of the TUI Skyla, this dish was inspired by Passau, Germany.
  • Sisi’s Secret: A cocktail inspired by the Empress of Austria, Sisi. Made with gin, passion fruit and lime, the sweet and punchy drink was crafted by Mixologist Bar Manager Hannah Michael Nabil Attia of the TUI Skyla, inspired by Vienna’s history.
  • TUI River Cruises’ Kaissechmarrn: A twist on the classic Austrian Kaissechmarrn dessert, created by Ramzi Morjme, TUI Maya’s pastry chef. The dish features flour, eggs, sugar, butter, milk, plum compote, rum and lemon garnish, inspired by Vienna’s traditional dessert.
