Phoenix Reisen’s Amadea sailed from the German port of Hamburg in late December for a 128-night world cruise.
One of two global voyages being offered by the company in the 2024-25 winter season, the itinerary features visits to various destinations in the Atlantic, the Caribbean, the Pacific and the Indian Ocean.
After leaving Germany on Dec. 21, the Amadea sailed to destinations in the Canaries, Morocco and Cape Verde before crossing the Atlantic.
The 584-passenger ship is currently sailing in the Caribbean before crossing the Panama Canal in mid-January.
Nine ports in the region are set to be visited, including Barbados, St. Vincent, Aruba and Panama’s San Blas Islands.
After moving to the Pacific, the Amadea is set to make a visit to Costa Rica before continuing to Melanesia for destinations in French Polynesia and the Cook Islands.
The vessel is then set to visit several ports of call in Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia on its way to the Indian Ocean.
Ports set to be visited during this segment of the cruise include Papeete in Tahiti, New Plymouth in New Zealand, Fraser Island in Australia and Larantuka in Flores.
Before returning to Europe, the ship is set to visit additional ports in Mauritius, South Africa, Réunion and Namibia.
After a visit to St. Helena, the 1991-built vessel is also scheduled to sail to ports in Gambia, Senegal and the Canary Islands.
The Amadea is then set to end its world cruise at the port of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on April 28, 2025.
Phoenix Reisen is also offering a 162-night global voyage onboard the Artania during the 2024-25 winter season.
Sailing from Hamburg to Gran Canaria, the itinerary is scheduled to visit destinations in various regions, including South America, the South Pacific, Asia and Africa.
The Germany-based company is also offering a 103-night cruise to South America on the Amera this season.
