Phoenix Reisen Donates 1 Million Euros

ZDF Donation

Bonn tour and cruise operator Phoenix Reisen donated one million euros during ZDF’s annual Christmas event. (ZDF is Germany’s national TV broadcaster.)

Hostess Carmen Nebel has German celebrities from film, television and music on the show that raised more nearly 3.2 million euros for two Christian aid organizations, Misereor and Brot für die Welt (Bread for the World).

This year the raised amount will be divided between four projects in South Africa, Sierra Leone, Uganda and Togo.

Johannes Zurnieden, founder of Phoenix Reisen, has supported the aid organizations of the show for many years, and made the donation on behalf of Phoenix Reisen and all the employees.
