Carnival Named Among 2024’s Best-Managed Companies

Carnival Legend

Carnival Corporation was named in The Wall Street Journal’s Management Top 250 list and recognized as one of the Best-Managed Companies of 2024.

Of the 250 companies recognized, Carnival Corporation was the top-ranked cruise-specific company overall and was among the top five in the Leisure, Arts and Hospitality sector, the company said in a press release.

“It’s an honor to have a well-respected organization like The Wall Street Journal recognize Carnival Corporation as one of the Best-Managed Companies of 2024,” said Josh Weinstein, CEO of Carnival Corporation.

“This achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of our talented leadership team who keeps our business moving in the right direction,” added Weinstein.

“It also acknowledges the collective passion and commitment of our 160,000 team members worldwide who truly drive our success, delivering unforgettable happiness to millions of guests by providing extraordinary cruise vacations, while honoring the integrity of every ocean we sail, place we visit and life we touch.”

The list is presented by The Wall Street Journal in partnership with Claremont Graduate University’s Drucker Institute.

It represents the highest scorers among hundreds of companies that qualified for this year’s list and measures corporate effectiveness in five areas: customer satisfaction, employee engagement and development, innovation, social responsibility and financial strength.

U.S. companies whose shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange or Nasdaq Stock Market were considered for the ranking, which was based on an analysis of 35 data inputs provided by 16 third-party sources.

According to the company, the recognition underscores Carnival Corporation’s performance in leading the way in sustainable cruising, delivering strong shareholder value and fostering a positive environment for all team members.

It also builds on a series of honors earned by Carnival Corporation, including a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2023-2024 Corporate Equality Index.
