Carnival Cruise Line will celebrate its 55th birthday in 2027 with special events on 11 cruises, featuring three ship meetups at sea, according to a press release.
The 55th birthday cruises include itineraries ranging from three to eight days, visiting destinations in The Bahamas and Caribbean.
The three events will bring ships and their guests together near Celebration Key and RelaxAway at Half Moon Cay. During each meetup, several ships will host Lido deck birthday celebrations, with the Carnival Legend participating in two meetups. Guests can enjoy themed activities, a specialty birthday cocktail, celebratory cakes, a Lido dessert buffet and party games and trivia.
The meetups will take place in March 2027 during the following sailings:
- March 9, 2027: Four ships will meet near Celebration Key. The Carnival Spirit departs Mobile on March 6 for an eight-day cruise, the Carnival Elation sails from Jacksonville on March 6 for five days, the Carnival Legend departs Tampa on March 7 for six days while the Carnival Freedom leaves Port Canaveral on March 8 for five days.
- March 10, 2027: Three ships will gather near RelaxAway at Half Moon Cay. The Carnival Jubilee departs Galveston on March 6 for an eight-day cruise, the Carnival Legend departs Tampa on March 7 for six days and the Carnival Pride departs Baltimore on March 7 for seven days.
- March 13, 2027: Five ships will celebrate near Celebration Key. The Carnival Celebration departs Miami on March 7 for seven days, while the Carnival Sunrise and Carnival Conquest sail shorter itineraries from Miami on March 11 and 12, respectively. From Port Canaveral, the Carnival Vista departs on March 6 for eight days while the Carnival Glory sets sail on March 12 for three days.
