Jeremy Schiller has rejoined Carnival Cruise Line as its Chief Financial Officer, according to a press release.
Schiller previously worked for Carnival for 12 years and returns after spending two years as CFO for Carnival sister brands Holland America Line and Seabourn.
As CFO, Schiller leads the planning, forecasting and accounting of all financial operations in support of the business. He reports to Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.
He is succeeding Jim Heaney, who is moving to Holland America Line and Seabourn as CFO.
“Jeremy made a positive impact at Carnival over many years of service and we are happy to welcome him back as we prepare for another round of significant growth, including the opening Celebration Key next summer and welcoming five new ships through 2033. At the same time, we wish Jim well as he brings his depth of financial experience to Holland America and Seabourn,” said Duffy.
Before serving Holland America Line and Seabourn as CFO, Schiller held the position of vice president, finance and operations at Carnival, where he led several shipboard revenue operations and oversaw financial planning and analysis, as well as the payroll, compensation and fleet finance teams.
Schiller began his finance career at BankAtlantic. He holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from University of Florida and a Master of Business Administration from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
