Alma Cruises announced the appointment of Iván Mañas Xoubanova as its new sales representative for what it called the Central Zone.
Mañas Xoubanova brings over 20 years of experience in the tourism sector and a track record in managing commercial and digital marketing strategies.
Alma, a new start up, is set to begin operations in the Western Mediterranean with a seasonal cruise program on the chartered Ocean Victory next summer.
In his new role, he will focus on enhancing Alma Cruceros’ presence in Spain and nearby regions, by working with travel agencies and tour operators.

Mañas Xoubanova started his career in the cruise industry at Costa Cruises, where he spent over 15 years in key roles, including Sales Manager for Central and Northwestern Spain and Digital Marketing Manager for Costa and Iberocruceros.
He later held senior positions at companies like Lastminute.com Group, where he managed the cruise department for Spain and France. Most recently, Mañas Xoubanova served as e-commerce and online marketing manager at Grupo LK, focusing on developing and optimizing digital platforms and sales strategies across the group’s websites.
