Speedcast Surpasses 10,000 in Starlink Kit Sales

Speedcast

Speedcast announced that it has exceeded 10,000 Starlink kit sales as of November 2024, according to a press release.

The milestone comes two years after Speedcast became the first authorized integrator of Starlink’s low Earth orbit (LEO) service for enterprise and maritime sectors. Since then, over one-third of its customers have integrated Starlink into their operations, using it as a primary, multipath, or dual-LEO solution at remote sites.

Starlink’s upcoming 99.9 percent service level agreement (SLA), set to launch in early 2025, is expected to enhance customer reliability and drive further sales growth.

“Starlink’s performance means that it has rapidly become a key component of Speedcast’s expansive connectivity toolkit. Next year, we look forward to the introduction of a 99.9 percent SLA from Starlink, representing just one of the developments that will further drive sales growth in 2025,” said James Trevelyan, executive vice president of global sales at Speedcast. “Other boosts to the portfolio include the next major release of our SIGMA Edge Networking software, which will allow the greatest levels of visibility and control ever seen at the remote site.”
