The MSC Poesia will offer seven-night cruises in Northern Europe during the 2025-26 winter season, MSC Cruises announced in a press release.
Taking over the itineraries that are currently being offered by the MSC Preziosa, the vessel will sail from Southampton to destinations in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and France.
“I am looking forward to welcoming the MSC Poesia to our shores during the 2025-26 winter season,” said Antonio Paradiso, vice president of international sales and managing director for MSC Cruises in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
“The winter months offer a perfect time to enjoy a city break and with MSC Cruises, guests can visit an array of city destinations all in one hassle-free trip departing directly from Southampton. Our guests can take advantage of one of our shore excursions to truly experience each destination with ease,” he added.
Departing from the British port on a weekly basis, the MSC Poesia will offer itineraries to Hamburg, Zeebrugge, Rotterdam and Le Havre. Guests will also be able to start the seven-night cruise in most of the ports of call.
After completing its winter season in the region, the MSC Poesia will embark on MSC Cruises’ first-ever summer program in Alaska in 2026.
Sailing from Seattle, the ship is scheduled to offer seven-night cruises to Ketchikan, Icy Strait Hoonah, Tracy Arm, Juneau and Victoria starting on May 11, 2026.
In related news, MSC Cruises recently announced its plans for the 2025-26 winter season in Brazil and South America.
The deployment includes the MSC Seaview offering seven-night cruises departing from Salvador, Maceió and Santos.
The MSC Preziosa, MSC Armonia, MSC Lirica and MSC Fantasia will also sail in the region, offering additional itineraries from various ports, including Rio de Janeiro, Itajaí, Buenos Aires and Montevideo.
