Norwegian Cruise Line recently announced its plans for the 2026-27 fall-winter season. The deployment includes over 400 new voyages departing from 20 ports and visiting nearly 100 destinations across 38 countries.
Cruise Industry News looks at the highlights of the cruise program, which will see the company’s 21-ship fleet sailing to the Caribbean, the Mexican Riviera, Asia and the Pacific.
Caribbean and the Bahamas
Ships: Norwegian Luna, Norwegian Aqua, Norwegian Viva, Norwegian Prima, Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Encore, Norwegian Escape, Norwegian Getaway, Norwegian Breakaway, Norwegian Pearl, Norwegian Jewel, Norwegian Gem, Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Sky and Norwegian Sun
Homeports: Miami, Port Canaveral, New York City, Philadelphia, Tampa, Jacksonville and Galveston (United States); San Juan (Puerto Rico)
Highlighted Ports of Call: Cozumel (Mexico); Harvest Cay (Belize); Great Stirrup Cay (Bahamas); Castries (St. Lucia) and La Romana (Dominican Republic)
Norwegian is sending 15 ships to the Caribbean for the 2026-27 winter season. The deployment includes the fleet’s newest vessels, as well as a new homeport and more.
The Norwegian Luna and the Norwegian Aqua are scheduled to sail from Miami, along with the Norwegian Joy, the Norwegian Jewel and the Norwegian Sun.
Other homeports in Florida include Port Canaveral with the Norwegian Epic, the Norwegian Escape and the Norwegian Getaway, as well as Jacksonville with the Norwegian Gem and Tampa with the Norwegian Sky and the Norwegian Dawn.
Other highlights include the Norwegian Prima debuting in New Orleans and the Norwegian Breakaway sailing from San Juan for the first time, as well as the Norwegian Pearl sailing from Philadelphia and the Norwegian Viva returning to Galveston.
Mexican Riviera
Ships: Norwegian Encore and Norwegian Star
Homeports: Los Angeles and San Diego (United States)
Highlighted Ports of Call: Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta (Mexico)
Two Norwegian ships are scheduled to sail in the Mexican Riviera with cruises starting in Los Angeles and San Diego.
According to the company, one of the highlights of the season is the Norwegian Encore, which will sail a full-length season on the West Coast for the first time, offering cruises from Los Angeles.
The Norwegian Star will also sail in the region, with itineraries departing from San Diego between December 2026 and March 2027.
Asia and the Far East
Ship: Norwegian Jade
Homeports: Incheon (South Korea); Hong Kong; Singapore; and Tokyo (Japan)
Highlighted Ports of Call: Jeju Island (South Korea); Coron (Philippines); Muara (Brunei Darussalam); and Osaka (Japan)
Returning to Asia for the first time since the 2019-20 season, the Norwegian Jade is scheduled to offer a series of itineraries from four homeports.
According to Norwegian, the seven-month Asia season will include 16 open-jaw voyages designed to offer port-intensive and immersive itineraries.
Australia and South Pacific
Ship: Norwegian Spirit
Homeports: Lautoka (Fiji); Sydney (Australia); and Auckland (New Zealand)
Highlighted Ports of Call: Kangaroo Island and Hobart (Australia); Dunedin and Tauranga (New Zealand)
The Norwegian Spirit is scheduled to return to Australia for itineraries that also sail to the South Pacific and New Zealand.
With four- to 11-night cruises, the deployment is highlighted by a repositioning cruise from Fiji, as well as roundtrip sailings from Sydney and open-jaw itineraries between Sydney and Auckland.
Hawaii
Ship: Pride of America
Homeports: Honolulu (United States)
Highlighted Ports of Call: Kahului, Kona, Nawiliwili and Hilo (United States)
As the industry’s only large U.S.-fleet cruise ship, the Pride of America will continue to offer inter-island cruises in Hawaii during the 2026-27 season.
Departing from Honolulu, the vessel offers seven-night cruises that visit four islands, with stops in Kahului, Hilo, Kona and Nawiliwili.
