Bookings for Disney Cruise Line’s first Asia-based ship, the Disney Adventure, are set to open in early December.
According to the company’s website, members of Disney’s Castaway Club loyalty program will be able to make reservations for the ship’s maiden season starting on Dec. 4, 2024.
Bookings for the general public in the United States are set to open one day earlier, on Dec. 3, 2024, while bookings for other countries start on Dec. 10, 2024.
Marking Disney Cruise Line’s debut in Southeast Asia, the Disney Adventure is scheduled to start its maiden season on Dec. 15, 2025.
Sailing from the Marina Bay Cruise Terminal in Singapore on a year-round basis, the 208,000-ton vessel will offer a series of three- and four-night cruises featuring only sea days.
The short sailings don’t feature visits to any destinations; instead, the vessel is scheduled to remain at sea during the entire duration of each cruise.
Approximately 30 sailings will be offered during the maiden season, which runs through late March 2026.
In addition to three- and four-night cruises, the Disney Adventure is also scheduled to offer two longer cruises in late 2025.
Celebrating the holidays at sea, the five-night special sailings depart from Singapore on Dec. 22 and Dec. 27, 2025.
Under construction at the MV Werften shipyard in Germany, the Adventure was initially ordered for Dream Cruises as the Global Dream.
After seeing its original operator shut down and leave the business, the unfinished vessel was acquired by Disney Cruise Line in 2022.
Currently being rebuilt for the company, the 6,000-guest ship will offer several new features, including seven distinct themed areas.
According to Disney, the vessel was redesigned to offer an experience that serves as “both a journey and a destination.”
Among the themed areas onboard is Disney Imagination Garden, which was inspired by 100 years of Disney adventures and will feature attractions from Moana, Mowgli in the jungle and more.
