Holland America’s 2026 European Deployment Breakdown

Holland America Line’s recently announced 2026 cruise program in Europe includes four ships sailing to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.

Cruise Industry News looks at the highlights of the deployment, which also features six Celestial Cruises.

Mediterranean
Ship: Oosterdam
Homeports:
Lisbon (Portugal); Piraeus (Greece); Barcelona (Spain); Trieste and Civitavecchia (Italy)
Highlighted Ports of Call:
Naples and Portofino (Italy); St. Tropez (France); Dubrovnik (Croatia); Valletta (Malta); and Haifa (Israel)

The Oosterdam is set to spend the summer of 2026 in the Mediterranean. Sailing from five homeports, the vessel will offer a series of seven- to 14-night itineraries to destinations across the region, including the Italian Riviera, the Adriatic Sea and the Greek Islands.

According to Holland America, the voyages were created by listening to guests’ feedback and include some of the most requested ports of call, such as Portofino in Italy and St. Tropez in France.

For a more in-depth look at the region, passengers can also book combined sailings of up to 27 days, the company said, with up to 21 days being sailed with no repeated ports.

Northern Europe
Ships: Rotterdam and Nieuw Statendam
Homeports:
Rotterdam and Amsterdam (Netherlands); Reykjavik (Iceland); and Dover (England)
Highlighted Ports of Call:
King’s Wharf (Bermuda), Bar Habor (United States), Saguenay and Halifax (Canada)

Two of the company’s newest ships, the Rotterdam and the Nieuw Statendam, will sail in Northern Europe in 2026. The Pinnacle-class vessels will sail from the Netherlands, England and Iceland on variousitineraries.

The program includes seven-night voyages to the Norwegian Fjords, as well as 14-day cruises to the Baltic Capitals and Scandinavia, and open-jaw cruises that sail between Reykjavik and Rotterdam.

Guests can experience over 80 ports across 20 countries, Holland America Line said, with four new destinations debuting in the company’s portfolio: Aberdeen, Scotland; Kalundborg, Denmark; Odda, Norway; and Portsmouth, England.

Celestial Cruises
Ships: Rotterdam, Nieuw Statendam, Oosterdam and Zuiderdam
Homeports:
Boston (United States); Dover (England); Rotterdam (Netherlands); and Lisbon (Portugal)
Highlighted Ports of Call:
Alta and Honningsvag (Norway); Barcelona (Spain); and Piraeus (Greece)

The brand’s 2026 program in Europe also includes six Celestial Cruises. According to the company, the itineraries were crafted to take guests to experience celestial events.

Sailing onboard four ships, the itineraries allow passengers to see sights such as the Northern Lights, a total solar eclipse, or the summer solstice above the Arctic Circle. Onboard, guests can also look forward to lectures from scientific experts, themed activities and more.

Five Celestial Cruises take place across Northern Europe, while the other sails across the Mediterranean.
