Virgin Voyages announced the introduction of 8 Legs Run Club, the first of its kind onboard, according to a company statement.

Launching this fall, the 8 Legs Run Club (8LRC) is designed for all experience levels, from seasoned half-marathoners to those just starting out and looking to connect with fellow wellness enthusiasts, the company said.

Additionally, guests can participate in runs at various destinations with the line’s Happenings Cast.

The company revealed that the inspiration for 8LRC also came from two guests: one who completed a full marathon aboard the Resilient Lady earlier this year, and Bruno Ocampo-Gonzalez, who ran for 24 hours straight last week, completing 639 laps around The Runway for a good cause.
