On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, Cunard hosted a business event for members of Australia’s LGBTQIA+ community aboard the Queen Victoria, according to a press release.

The event was hosted in partnership with GREAT Love and the British Consulate-General Sydney, Australia. Special guests aboard Cunard’s ship included the Right Honorable Lord Herbert of South Downs CBE, UK Special Envoy for LGBTQIA+ rights, and British High Commissioner to Australia Vicki Treadell CMG, MVO.

GREAT Love is a UK campaign celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community, which strives to promote inclusivity, diversity and freedom. The international campaign is being relaunched at Sydney WorldPride 2023.

The campaign enables LGBTQIA+ storytellers to share intimate stories of their journey to self-acceptance and belonging. The GREAT Love campaign also provides all LGBTQIA+ communities with a platform to showcase their brilliance and share stories.
