Variety Cruises has announced this year’s LGBTQIA+ cruise in the Seychelles which departs on October 28, 2023. 

The Limited Collection itinerary will allow guests to enjoy local farm-to-table dining, adventure tours and exploring the beauty of the destination, an Off-Broadway-at-Sea night as well as other activities led by a guest host.

The cruise will take place onboard the Pegasus which has 21 cabins and accommodates up to 44 guests. The eight-day itinerary is a round trip to Mahé island and allows travelers to explore the fauna and flora within a yacht environment. Guests can also take advantage of optional excursions that offer an opportunity to explore the underwater world or walk through jungles. 

Travelers will be joined on board by Director of Communications and PR for Variety Cruises, Constantine Venetopoulos. Venetopoulos helps lead the Gender Equality pillar of the Variety Cares foundation and he has also been a volunteer counselor The Trevor Project since 2011. Additionally, Venetopoulos is also the director of the film Draw With Me which was the first documentary on transgender history to be featured at the United Nations during the 50th anniversary of the Stone Wall riots. 

Variety Cruises has a long history of gender-inclusive staff training in collaboration with organizations such as IGLTA, a network of LGBTQIA+ welcoming tourism businesses, and The Trevor Project, whose mission is to end suicide among LGBTQAI+ youth, with the goal of ensuring the safety of its guests.

Variety Cruises also recently partnered with Hellinides, an organization that supports women in business via training, professional development and networking.
