Princess Cruises Is Expanding Onboard Fitness Classes

Fitness Class

Princess Cruises announced that it is expanding the onboard fitness classes by adding workouts from premium boutique fitness brands thus helping guests maintain their New Year’s resolutions, according to a press release.

“To many people, continuing their daily exercise routine on vacation gives license to extra special vacation indulgence, and Princess presents world-class options on both the fitness and indulgence fronts,” said John Padgett, president of Princess Cruises.

“So whether it’s keeping up with New Year resolutions, offsetting the incredible food and drink on board, or connecting with other fitness fans, we’re excited to offer the most premium and inclusive boutique fitness experiences in the industry.”

Some of the fitness brands that will be available aboard the Princess Cruises fleet include Pure Barre, YogaSix and StretchLab. From February 20, travelers who have booked all-inclusive packages like Princess Plus and Princess Premier can take advantage of the complimentary onboard workouts.

The decision to expand fitness classes was prompted by a Statista survey which said that increased exercise is again at the top of New Year’s resolutions for 2023.

The Princess Plus package will feature two complimentary fitness classes per cruise, while the Princess Premier packages will have unlimited fitness classes.

Some of the workouts that will be available from mid-February include:

  • Pure Barre
  • YogaSix
  • StretchLab
  • Club Pilates
  • Cycle Bar
  • STRIDE Fitness
