Port Tampa Bay introduced a new app aimed to help cruise guests make the most of their time in Tampa Bay before and after their cruise.

The Port Tampa Bay Cruise App is a web-based platform that helps guests discover interesting things in the area. Using this app, guests will be able to locate places such as restaurants, shops and breweries in the vicinity of the port’s cruise terminals.

“Cruising from Port Tampa Bay has truly become a year-round benefit to the local economy. Cruise guests love to take advantage of the attractions, dining, and shopping that are just steps away from our cruise terminals. We are fortunate to offer this unique benefit to guests, and are happy to support regional tourism and are delighted to continue to support our local business and community,” said Paul Anderson, Port Tampa Bay president and CEO.

The app allows guests to set a timer based on how much time they want to spend exploring so they can map out a personalized route. The app also helps guests with cruise parking and since it’s web-based, it doesn’t have to be downloaded to be used.
