MSC Opens Sales for 2025 World Cruise

MSC Cruises today opened sales for the MSC World Cruise 2025 with an entirely new itinerary aboard the MSC Magnifica.

The 116-night voyage will visit 50 destinations in 21 countries, with seven overnight stays and include 22 destinations that have not previously featured on the company’s world cruises, according to a press release.

The three-month long journey will take cruisers to five continents and cross three of the world’s largest oceans, sailing more than 30,000 nautical miles.

Voyagers can embark from Civitavecchia, Genoa, Marseille and Barcelona on 4, 5, 6 and 7 January 2025 respectively.

The voyage sails from Europe to Casablanca in Morocco and then onto Cape Verde’s capital, Mindelo.

After crossing the Atlantic Ocean, guests will spend 10 days exploring South America including overnights in Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Valparaiso as well as visits to the Falkland Islands and the southernmost tip of the continent, Ushuaia.

The ship then makes her way across the South Pacific Ocean and visits tropical islands for almost two weeks, including Easter Island, French Polynesia and the Cook Islands.

The cruise will then begin an extended tour of New Zealand and Australia.  Guests can visit in eight days the cities of Auckland, Tauranga, Napier, Christchurch and Dunedin, followed by a sailing through the Milford Sound fjord in southern New Zealand.

Marking the second month of sailing, the MSC Magnifica will visit Sydney, Australia and start 19 days sailing around the southern and western coasts of the country with calls in Eden, Melbourne, Adelaide, Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island, Albany, Busselton, Perth and Broome.

The cruise then heads to Asia with the first call port in Benoa on Bali, Indonesia. MSC Magnifica then sails to Singapore, Port Klang and Penang in Malaysia and Phuket in Thailand.

The ship will cross the Indian Ocean to the capital of Sri Lanka, Colombo before heading to the Middle East with Red Sea calls in Aqaba in Jordan, Sharm El-Sheik and Safaga in Egypt and then transit through the Suez Canal to Alexandria on Egypt’s Mediterranean coast.

The MSC Magnifica then sails back to Europe with visits to four cities in Italy with the MSC World Cruise 2025 ending in Genoa.
