Carnival Cruise Line Unveils Bucket List Transpacific Cruise

Carnival Luminosa

Carnival Cruise Line has introduced a unique, 31-day transpacific cruise aboard the Carnival Luminosa that will span three continents in 2024.

The cruise will set sail from Brisbane, Australia heading toward Japan, crossing the Pacific Ocean to Alaska and ending in Seattle, Washington.

“This itinerary reads like a travel lover’s wish list. This transpacific voyage on Carnival Luminosa is a truly unique offering,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.

“As we continue to grow our fleet and our offerings, our team is taking every opportunity to create exceptional new experiences for our guests. This sailing is a perfect testament to that.”

This addition to Carnival Journeys program is one of the longest itineraries in Carnival’s 50-year history.

The Carnival Luminosa will depart from Brisbane, Australia, on April 1, 2024 and will make calls in: Guam; Okinawa, Hiroshima, Yokohama (Tokyo), Aomori and Kushiro, Japan; Seward, Juneau and Ketchikan, Alaska. Finally, the ship will pass through the Hubbard Glacier ending in Seattle, Washington on May 1, 2024.

This sailing will also mark Carnival’s first-ever visit to Okinawa, Japan. Reservations for the 31-day adventure are now open.
