Tarragona Cruise Port Announces Agreement with MSC

Tarragona Cruise Port has announced an agreement with the MSC Crioses for 26 turnaroundss at the Port of Tarragona by MSC Magnifica during the 2023 season, according to a press release.

The announcement was made on January 19 on the State Ports stand at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) by Marta Farrero, manager of the Tarragona-Costa Daurada Provincial Government Tourism Board; Victor Franquet, Tarragona Tourism manager; Pilar Parra, State Ports corporate director; and Fernando Pacheco, general manager for MSC Cruises in Spain.

With this new agreement, Tarragona will become the embarkation city for the MSC Magnifica’s cruises during the 2023 season.

The MSC Magnifica will operate a seven-night itinerary on the Western Mediterranean from the Port of Tarragona with calls at Toulon, France, Genoa, Civitavecchia/Rome, Livorno/Pisa, Italy, and Valencia Spain.

Speaking at FITUR, Tarragona Cruise Port also presented the city of Tarragona as a Mediterranean cruise destination.
