Starboard Cruise Services,started the new year with new leadership roles, according to a statement.
The company promoted Lisa Kauffman to chief sales and marketing officer and Mike Turek to chief data analytics officer.
“With a strengthened leadership team comes a refreshed approach to providing our cruise line partners innovative and profitable retail concepts that ultimately translate into unparalleled vacation retail experiences that delight our cruise guests,” said Lisa Bauer, president and CEO.
“Between Lisa and Mike, there are more than 55 years of experience in business strategy, marketing and sales. These strategic infrastructure changes will drive Starboard’s profitable growth, expanding our capabilities in 2023 and beyond.”
The transition of roles went into effect on January 1, 2023.
Kauffman, formerly the chief marketing officer, will leverage the power of Starboard’s shoreside and shipboard teams. She will bring together the transformational work the company has begun across account team management; sales; marketing; digital and visual merchandising across the world.
In his new capacity, Turek will oversee the business intelligence team and information technology department taking on Starboard’s roadmap of data optimization, automation, process improvement and business effectiveness to the next level.
