As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, Resorts World Cruises celebrated the Chinese New Year with the residents of the NTUC Health Nursing Home (Pasir Ris) aboard the Genting Dream in Singapore, according to a statement.
“With the Chinese New Year celebration just around the corner, we are delighted to see that the NTUC Health Nursing Home (Pasir Ris) elderly and volunteers had a good time aboard the Genting Dream for a special CNY celebration. Resorts World Cruises, as a brand that is headquartered in Singapore, we look forward to serving and engaging more communities locally and across the region with more CSR initiatives in the near future,” said Michael Goh, president of Resorts World Cruises.
The cruise company had made special arrangements for the physically challenged elderly together with volunteers to come onboard the Genting Dream where they were greeted by Captain Robert Bodin.
Guests were treated to an afternoon of fun and laughter, which included “Herald the Prosperous Year of the Rabbit – CNY Feng Shui Talk by Master Sherwin Tng”, traditional Chinese New Year Lo Hei, a karaoke sing-a-long session with a Chinese band, as well as a special High Tea session.
