Lindblad Expeditions announced the expansion of its global sales team with two strategic new hires, according to a press release.

The company is adding two senior sales leaders who are joining as vice presidents: Christine Stevens Robinson and Rachel Woodward.

“Christine and Rachel bring more than 40 years of combined cruise industry experience, and each has an impressive track record working in the expedition cruise space,” said John Delaney, senior vice president of sales and revenue management at Lindblad Expeditions.

“We have never been more focused on supporting our dedicated travel advisors – and fostering mutually beneficial relationships with new accounts. We’re building the strongest expedition sales team in the industry and these two new additions to our team help bolster our commitment to the travel advisor community.”

Robinson and Woodward will each be responsible for strengthening travel advisor relations on a regional level as well as supporting the influx of advisors expanding into the expedition cruise space.

Prior to joining Lindblad Expeditions, Robinson most recently served as vice president of national accounts at Hurtigruten and has more than 20 years of experience working with Holland America Line, Seabourn, and Carnival Cruise Lines.

Woodward served as senior director of expedition sales, North America at Silversea Cruises for 10 years and has previously spent nearly eight years in various roles at Crystal Cruises.

“I am extremely honored and excited to join the remarkable team at Lindblad Expeditions,” said Woodward.

“Throughout my career, I have long admired Lindblad for being the true pioneer in expedition cruising, and their ability to provide unique experiences to some of the world’s most remote destinations. I am looking forward to sharing this amazing product with travel advisors and guests.”

Robinson added: “I am beyond thrilled to join a company with such a rich history in expedition travel and a great reputation in the marketplace.”

Both new hires will be working alongside Delaney’s other direct reports, Lesa Bain, vice president of North America sales; Karen Kuttner-Dimitry, vice president of affinity and charter sales; Jacinta McEvoy, vice president of global sales; and the recently onboarded Neil Fitzgerald, director of pricing and revenue management.
