CruiseCompete Adds Alaskan Dream Cruises

Alaskan Dream Ship

CruiseCompete has announced that it has added Alaskan Dream Cruises to its offerings, according to a statement.

The expedition line’s vessels include the Admiralty Dream, Alaskan Dream, Baranof Dream, Chicagof Dream, Kruzof Explorer and Misty Fjord.

Allen Marine, the parent company of Alaskan Dream Cruises, was founded in 1970 when Bob and Betty Allen, and their five children, restored a ruined boat that became the St. Michael.  Allen Marine currently operates over 30 vessels, employs more than 300 Alaskans, and provides daily and week-long tours throughout Southeast Alaska.

Alaskan Dream Cruises offers a variety of itineraries ranging in length from five to nine nights. Highlighted itineraries include in 2023:

  • Alaska’s Islands, Whales and Glaciers – a five-night Sitka to Juneau adventure for travelers looking for more activity exploring the Icy Strait, Glacier Bay and Lynn Canal among other destinations.
  • Alaska Bear Country and Wilderness Expedition – a seven-night voyage departing from Sitka exploring the Kuiu Islands, Sumner Strait and Wilderness Bay among other places.
  • Alaska Coastal Discoveries and Culture – a seven-night journey from Sitka to Ketchican exploring West Baranof Island, Wrangell and Kasaan, among other places.
  • Remote Alaska Adventure – a nine-night adventure from Sitka to Ketchican visiting Glacier Bay National Park, Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness and West Prince of Whales Island among other destinations.
