Adventures by Disney announced its return to three of Europe’s rivers for the 2024 travel season.
The 22 river cruise departures will include sailing the Rhine River, the Danube River and the Seine River, according to a company statement.
The highlight of the 2024 lineup is the new “Danube River Cruise: Magical Holidays” voyage which marks the first time the travel company will offer a themed river cruise voyage during the New Year’s holiday. Guests will sail on the Danube River and have the chance to explore Germany, Austria and Hungary.
Each itinerary will offer Disney’s signature storytelling and experiences which include:
- Dashing through the Black Forest on an Alpine toboggan ride (Rhine River Cruise).
- Admiring the Notre-Dame Cathedral (Seine River Cruise).
- Exploring the Schonbrunn Palace and its terrace garden named The Orangery (Danube River Cruise).
- Viewing castles along the Rhine Gorge (Rhine River Cruise).
- Gazing at the skyline view of the Eiffel Tower in the City of Light (Seine River Cruise).
- Visiting the Mirabell Gardens (Danube River Cruise).
- Visiting the Normandy beaches, including Omaha Beach, the American cemetery and Les Braves Memorial (Seine River Cruise).
Additionally, on every cruise there will be culinary activities such as apple strudel tasting in Vienna, Austria, chocolate sampling in Cologne, Germany or macaron cookie baking in Strasbourg, France.
