Nassau Cruise Port Welcomes Six Ships On Two Consecutive Days

Six ships in Nassau

Nassau Cruise Port announced a historic achievement as the port team welcomed six ships on December 5 and again on December 6, 2022.

This is the first time that the port has recorded six ships per day for two consecutive days, the port said, in a press release.

The port welcomed two Oasis-class Royal Caribbean ships on Monday – the Wonder of the Seas and the Harmony of the Seas. The two ships were joined by the Explorer of the Seas, the Carnival Elation, the Celebrity Reflection and the Celebrity Beyond, which combined brought over 21,000 guests to Nassau.

On Tuesday, December 6, four more Royal Caribbean ships arrived including the Independence of the Seas, the Enchantment of the Seas, the Mariner of the Seas and the Liberty of the Seas.

The fifth and the sixth ships to arrive at the Nassau Cruise Port on Tuesday were the Disney Wish and the Carnival Liberty. Combined, the ships brought a total of 19,959 passengers.

Nassau Cruise Port expects a very successful 2023 cruise season with over 4 million passengers expected in 2023.

The company managing the port is working on transforming the Nassau Cruise Port to enhance the passenger experience along with a planned construction of a new terminal building, the creation of an event and entertainment area, food and beverage facilities and investments in retail facilities.
