November Update: Where In The World Are The Disney Ships?

With four ships in the Caribbean and one on the West Coast, Disney Cruise Line is ready for the upcoming winter season. The company also has three ships on order.

Cruise Industry News tracked the location of every ship of the current and future fleet as of November 25, 2022:

Disney Wish
Year Built: 2022
Capacity: 2,500 guests
Status: In service
Location: Bahamas

After entering service earlier this year, the Disney Wish continues to offer a year-round schedule of three- and four-night cruises to the Bahamas. Sailing from Disney’s homeport in Port Canaveral, the LNG-powered vessel visits Nassau and Castaway Cay – the company’s private island destination in the region.

Disney Fantasy
Year Built: 2012
Capacity: 2,500 guests
Status: In service
Location: Western Caribbean

Also sailing from Port Canaveral on a year-round basis, the Disney Fantasy offers longer cruises to both Western and Eastern Caribbean. This week, the vessel’s itineraries include visits to ports in Mexico, the Caymans, Jamaica and Bahamas including Cozumel, George Town, Falmouth and Castaway Cay.

Disney Dream
Year Built: 2011
Capacity: 2,500 guests
Status: In service
Location: Bahamas

Continuing its first season based in Miami, the Disney Dream is offering short cruises to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Sailing from its South Florida homeport twice per week, the vessel visits Castaway Cay, Nassau, Grand Cayman, Cozumel and more.

Disney Wonder
Year Built: 1999
Capacity: 1,750 guests
Status: In service
Location: U.S. West Coast

The Disney Wonder is presently on the West Coast for a series of cruises to Baja California and the Mexican Riviera. Sailing from San Diego, the program includes three- to seven-night cruises to popular ports in the region including Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlán.

Disney Magic

Location: U. S. East Coast

After wrapping up its fall season on the East Coast earlier this month, the Disney Magic is offering Western Caribbean cruises departing from Galveston. Visiting Mexico, Grand Cayman, Jamaica and more, the program runs through February – when the ship is set to reposition to New Orleans.

Ex-Global Dream
Year Built: 2025
Capacity: 6,000 guests
Status: Under construction
Location: Wismar, Germany

Recently acquired by Disney Cruise Line, the incomplete Global Dream continues to sit at the building dock of the MV Werften shipyard in Wismar, Germany. Set to enter service in 2025, the vessel will soon begin to be redesigned to offer Disney’s experiences, in addition to the company’s traditional livery and look.

Disney Treasure
Year Built: 2024
Capacity: 2,500 guests
Status: Under construction
Location: Papenburg, Germany

Another ship being built for Disney Cruise Line, the Disney Treasure is set to enter service in 2024. Currently in early stages of construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany, the new vessel will feature a new design concept inspired by the theme of adventure. A third and final newbuild in this class debuts in 2025.
