Aurora Expeditions announced that it is offering single travelers a chance to join its voyages to remote worldwide destinations with 50 percent savings, according to a press release.
The company’s festive offer applies to some of its most popular Arctic and global voyages booked and deposited prior to December 31, 2022.
Solo travelers can join the voyages aboard the expedition company’s small ships, the Greg Mortimer and the Sylvia Earle, without paying the regular single supplement, which amounts to a 50 percent savings.
Expeditions include visits to destinations such as Arctic Circle, Greenland, Iceland, Svalbard, and the Northwest Passage, and even enjoy the Northern Lights.
Aurora Expeditions also offers non-solo travelers a chance to save up to 20 percent off all Arctic and global cruises in 2023 if booked and deposited before December 31.
Among the options, the 12-day journey Spirit of Antarctica aboard the Greg Mortimer sets sail from Ushuaia, Argentina passing through Beagle Channel, Drake Passage, and Antarctic Peninsula where travelers can enjoy observing wildlife including leopard seals and whales.
The Sylvia Earle recently embarked on its 17-day maiden voyage to the Subantarctic Islands on November 4, departing from Santiago, Chile. The journey will end in Ushuaia, Argentina on November 20.
