River Advice Strengthens Nautical Team

River Advice announced that Roman Cangar and André van Olderen will lead its nautical department, which currently oversees operations on approximately 100 river ships.

“With this step, the company intends to further consolidate its leading position as a nautical service provider and competence platform and to proactively meet the challenges of the market,” the firm said, in a press release.

Van Olderen will oversee nautical directors and corporate captains, focusing on crewing, recruitment, training and safety

Cangar will oversee itinerary planning and management, crew planning, nautical budgets and the company’s operation center. He was most recently director of operation for Vantage Travel in Boston.
