Trimline, a leading marine interior outfitter, has said demand is high for cruise jobs in early 2019 and beyond.
The British company said that they are sending teams to work on upcoming refits including the Navigator of the Seas, Celebrity Millennium, Coral Princess, TUI Mein Schiff 2, Celebrity Summit and Marella Explorer 2, as well as ferry refits for DFDS Seaways and Condor Ferries.
Cruise Key Account Manager Simon Dawkins said: “With over 50 years in the industry, Trimline staff understand the importance of planning for success, reliability and quality output. Over the years, we’ve worked on a diverse array of complex and demanding projects for most of the world’s cruise lines and ferry companies, earning Trimline the trust of many of the ships refit personnel.”
Trimline has become a major player for Marella Cruises in the interior refits and conversions for the British brand’s fleet modernization strategy having carried out the interior refits on Marella Explorer, Marella Discovery and Marella Discovery 2.
Now Trimline’s attention will turn to the Golden Era, which recently entered the drydock in Cadiz, Spain, and will be converted into the Marella Explorer 2, debuting in April.
As the main interior contractor, Trimline is responsible for the majority of the interior refurbishment of the ship, including the following public spaces: Indigo, The Marketplace, Coffee Port, Squid & Anchor, Broadway & Broadway Bar, Latitude/Vista, and all alleyways, staircases and lobbies.
