Pullmantur Cruises has hosted its annual partner event, coinciding with Fitur (an international tourism trade event held in Spain Jan. 23 to 27).
According to the cruise line, the evening event in Madrid was attended by around 170 of the company’s partners in Spain and Latin America, including a large number of tour operators and travel agents, as well as politicians and representatives of tourism organizations, along with different airlines the company works with.
The event was chaired by Richard J. Vogel, president and CEO of Pullmantur Cruises, who was accompanied by the corporate commercial director of Pullmantur, Alejandro Páez, and the commercial sales force.
Vogel used the opportunity to highlight “the excellent results achieved in 2018” and expressed his gratitude to all the partners who are supporting the brand.
Vogel also stressed high hopes the new year in line with global travel trends. “We go into 2019 fully committed to expanding and helping boost the economies in the areas we operate in, while positioning ourselves as market leaders in Spain and the first choice for Latin American passengers,” he said.
Also at Fitur, Pullmantur received an award from Iberia, highlighting the strategic alliance between the two companies.
