Saga Cruises’ first ever newbuild, the Spirit of Discovery, is taking shape quickly at Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. The 1,000-guest vessel is due for delivery in summer 2019, and will be followed a sister ship in 2020.
These photos show block 1B, the stern starboard section of the ship, being lowered into place in Meyer’s covered building hall.
