Major Shipyards Commit to China Cruise Shipping

The world’s biggest cruise ship building players have committed to the China Cruise Shipping event, set to take place in Sanya, China, Nov. 5-7.

The yards will come together for the Cruise Construction Forum, a key panel discussion and set of presentations, and one of many topics to be covered over three days in Sanya.

Participants include Fincantieri, STX France, Meyer Werft, China Ship Shipbuilding Corporation and the China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation.

The focus of the discussion will be on building ships in China, said the China Cruise and Yacht Industry Association, which organizes the event.

It is the 12th edition of China Cruise Shipping, which takes place annually and is the premier event for the cruise industry in China.
