Coral Expeditions Announces Special Tasmania Voyage

Coral Expeditions, has announced a one-off “Coastal Treks of Tasmania” departure on January 15, 2018 to explore Tasmania’s scenic coastline.

During the special seven-night voyage, guest hosts Angus and Alison Moore, experienced local bush-walkers with extensive knowledge of Tasmanian flora and fauna, will provide guests with insight into the landscapes that guests will explore throughout the cruise, according to the company.

The expedition will take place aboard the Coral Discover with a maximum of 72 guests onboard the niche vessel.

See Port Davey from Mt Beattie with breathtaking views over Bathurst Channel and Bathurst Harbour.

Tour and tasting at Grandvewe Cheeses, the only organic sheep cheesery in Australia; tour of Woodbridge Marine Discovery Centre; exploration of the Huon River via tender; tour quaint Franklin Township, the oldest town in the region; and visit to Wooden Boat School to meet the craftsmen who hand-make each vessel.
