The Association of Arctic Expedition Cruise Operators (AECO) announced it is having its annual Arctic Cruise Conference and annual dinner in Oslo on Wednesday October 18.

This event, which has been going on since 2003, will bring together the international Arctic expedition cruise industry, government officials and others connected to Arctic cruise tourism, according to a statement.

Details of the program are still being finalized, but issues impacting Arctic regions, such as regulations, search and rescue, research and other projects and initiatives are among the topics to be discussed.

The conference will take place at the Gamle Logen in Oslo. The cost of the conference is NOK 1.500,- and NOK 800,- for dinner.
