Etstur to Run Summer Season with Louis Aura

Etstur, a major Turkish tour operator, is set to charter the former Louis Aura for a season out of Cesme (Izmir) sailing to the Greek Islands.

Pricing starts at 199 euro per person.

The season will run from June 24 through early October with three and four-night cruises offered.

The 1968-built Louis Aura will be renamed the Aegean Queen for the season; she was originally launched as the Starward for Norwegian Cruise Line.

Etstur had previously chartered the Delphin, which was slightly bigger at 652-passengers, compared to 550-passengers on the Aura.

The 2017-2018 Cruise Industry News Annual Report estimates that Etstur will carry 30,000 passengers.

Starting as a tour operator in 1991 in Istanbul, Etstur has grown and chartered full ships under its own brand since 2012.
