Lena Johanna Gercke, German fashion model and television host, has been named godmother of the new AIDAperla and will christen the ship in a pier-side ceremony taking place in Palma on June 30, 2017.

The christening cruise is scheduled from June 24 to July 1, sailing from Palma and calling in Rome, Florence and Barcelona as the ship is being delivered two months earlier than anticipated.
