Circus Roncalli will become the first European circus to perform on two Europa 2 summer cruises this year, according to luxury operator Hapag-Lloyd Cruises.
On the six-star ship, guests will see acts that are “seemingly straight from a book of fairy tales. With nostalgic costumes, astounding acrobatics and juggling from an enchanting world behind the scenes, the hand-picked artists of the most wonderful circus in Europe perform in one creative program and show the modern aspects of the art, while in a traditional setting.”
The group will perform two different shows on each cruise. One performance will center on traditional elements, while another focuses on “modern interpretation” of circus acts.
The circus will be aboard for a Venice to Monaco sailing on June 30, and a second cruise on August 1 from Bilbao to Hamburg. Both sailings are said to be sold out.
