Ship Sizes Changed: Carnival Corporation’s next generation of ships, powered by LNG, have grown in size. Originally announced at 180,000 tons, Meyer Werft said in a statement the ships are 183,900 tons last month when steel was cut for the first AIDA LNG-powered newbuild. The delivery has also moved up, from early 2019 to late 2018.

SuperStar Gemini: The year-round cruise program out of the Singapore Cruise Center for the SuperStar Gemini is set to come to end later this year, according to sources, and the ship is set to re-deploy to Thailand.

Joy Ports: Where is the Norwegian Joy calling before she is christened in Shanghai in late June? There are berth bookings at Marina Bay (May 20) and Guam (May 27). the ship then will call on Qingdao and Tianjin in early June. With recent pullback in South Korea, overall China deployment and port calls may be adjusted.
