Rostock Expects 192 Call Cruise Season

The port of Rostock is expecting 38 different cruise ships to call 192 times over the course of the 2017 cruise season in Warnemünde, according to a statement.

The year starts for the port on April 27 with the AIDAdiva, and there are five first-time calls including the Columbus, MSC Magnifica, Norwegian Getaway, Seven Seas Explorer and Viking Sky.

AIDA will homeport the AIDAdiva and ADIAmara in Rostock for the summer season, while Costa, MSC and Norwegian are also interporting.

There will be three four-ship calls, and 14 three-ship days at the port in 2017. The Balmoral will close the 800,000 passenger season on Oct. 12 for Fred. Olsen Cruise Line.
