Earlier this year Trimline completed a large refurbishment job on the 212-passenger Star Pride. The value of the job was estimated at $4.5 million, taking place in Athens Greece, and including overhauls of both owners’ suites and various public spaces.
The Star Pridewas the latest Trimline refurbishment for Windstar, joining the Star Breeze and Star Legend which were refurbished by Trimline last year, according to a press release, with matching accommodation and features.
Windstar and Trimline have partnered for the renovation of all six ships in Windstar’s fleet.
Both owners’ suites were completed overhauled with a new layout, flooring, furniture and bathrooms.
Trimline also did interior work in the ship’s Amphora Restaurant, with new flooring, furniture, lights, curtains and more going into the venue, along with overhauled waiter stations.
In addition, the British interior refit firm worked on upgrades to the reception area, show lounge, veranda, courtyard dining area and the Star screening room.
Michael Oliver, Trimline chairman, said: “Trimline was very pleased to work with Windstar on this significant refurbishment and in particular on the Owners Suites where the outcome on this technical project was of the highest quality and fits well within the Windstar brand.”
“Trimline was chosen as Windstar’s main sub-contractor for the Pride Phase II refit as we know we can count on them to complete any project on time, within budget & on schedule. All areas refurbished look beautiful but in particular the two new owner’s suites are stunning & Trimline’s finish work was key to making this project a success,” said Theresa Rasmussen, interior superintendent, Windstar.
