The Seabourn Odyssey called in the Port of Toulon as part of a strong 2016 cruise season, which has so far amounted to 135 cruise calls and 276,000 cruise passengers, according to a released statement.

The port called it an exceptional year, with an all-time-high 14 inaugural calls, and more calls than ever by luxury and premium lines. A new terminal opened earlier in the year.

For the Odyssey’s call – the first for the ship – a local delegation including the chamber of commerce and other local tourism representatives conducted the traditional plaque and key ceremony with the ship’s captain.
