It’s a standard year for cruise-ship traffic to the town of Sept-Iles in Quebec.
“We have four ships over three days,” remarked Marie-Eva Duguay, executive director for Destination Sept-Illes.
“We offer cruise lines world-class infrastructure. We are able to berth any class of ship,” she noted. “Our pier facility was originally built for the specs of the Queen Mary 2 and we are still hoping she will call here.”
Duguay said an average year saw about 5,000 passengers, but she was working to renew shore excursion experiences and lower port fees.
