Crystal Cruises has named John Polimenakos as vice president, information technology.

In his role Polimenakos, will oversee the company-wide IT infrastructure supporting shoreside and onboard technological needs, according to a statement.

Polimenakos will be based in the Miami branch office and report directly to Donald Mason, senior vice president of Finance, Accounting, Strategic Planning and Computer Services.

“John’s vast experience in conceptualizing IT strategies during times of significant growth in the cruise industry is certain to enhance our technological advances as we expand,” said Crystal CEO and president, Edie Rodriguez.
